The effects of Global Warming is getting much stronger these days. We should concentrate more on alternative energy to reduce carbon emissions.

Thank you for highlighting this important issue. As Muslims in particular we should remember God has made humans guardians of Creation (e.g. Quran 10:14; 6:165), however: "Disasters have spread throughout the land and sea, because of what the people have committed. God thus lets them taste the consequences of some of their works, THAT THEY MAY RETURN (to the right path)." (Quran 30:41, my emphasis) ... better change our ways now (out of love for God - ruining Creation shows arrogance), than have difficult time on Day of Judgment. Good thing is, as humans with free will we have personal responsibility and accountability - no need to be depressed about what others are (not) doing, all we have to do is what we can do (as individual). And if all of us do it, that'll be even better. In peace, Rianne
